Even though the real-time strategy games usually saw the most attention from gamers, turn-based games always managed to hold their space and one of the biggest franchises that have been consistently doing that is the Civilization series.Ĭivilization games have always held a special place in my heart. Strategy games have been a staple since the beginning of PC gaming, along with FPS and RPGs. Civilization 6 modding tools and Steam Workshop support finally came along with the Australian Summer update, so there's lots of great modding to come.
